Skoolie newb here! I'm sooooo thankful I've found this site. Loads of great information. I'm familiar with short buses as I've been driving them for about 10 years or so lately just for pleasure. I'm in the planning stages of my build and I look forward to all the guidance I'm sure to receive here.

My current Rig is a 94 Eldorado National Aerotech "Rider" (7.3 Ford Diesel) with 19 seats (1 being Air ride  ) and the rest being recliners. 32 inch T.v. up front with the radio system and a sound bar running the tunes. Makes for an awesome theater experience (Almost). 2 "dinettes" for the kids to play games on seal the deal.

If anyone is in the "Tidewater" area give me a shout!

We'll see you on the road! :Thanx:

Thanks! It really hasn't been too too long but I was torn between a true skoolie and a coach conversion. I finally settled on a coach but I have a short bus Ill be doing (weekender/ tow rig) in the mean time while I search for a suitable coach.

Virginia Skoolie

Welcome!

I am in Virginia as well. I live in Richmond and am currently converting my 1987 International 23 seater in the city. I hope your bus search goes well!

That short bus you have sounds awesome. Would love to see some pictures of it!

Sounds like me!!! I'm building a big school bus and the conversion is taking forever. Going all with raised roof etc.
So in the meantime we bought ourselves a lil 6 window short bus to drive around and have fun on the weekends. Our dog LOVES it.
Best $1700 I ever spent!

That's awesome Space Cadet. I'm from just south of Petersburg and that's where I store the other buses. I have several shuttle buses that we used to use for medical transportation as well.

EastCoast CB this is our largest undertaking thus far, we built a kit car a couple years back and took a few years to do it but I'm too impatient for all that now LOL.
My dog loves bus rides as well. He barks like a madman when I fire it up.

I'll post some pictures once I get home folks. Thanks for the support!
