Hello! My name is Liv. I love to travel. Before the pandemic I loved to travel internationally. International travel has changed alot since then. I'm trying to make travel my life style and what better way to do it than in a home on wheels. I have two young kids and we are in the 1st step of of schoolie build. I have been looking for a bus and have been getting a few leads locally. Im located in the north Dakota and South Dakota area. I'M thinking of purchasing a transit bus. Vehicle details below
2003 ford econoline e450 super duty cutaway bus
Mileage 135,000
Size 18 passenger
Engine 7.3 D Ford Powerstroke
Automatic transmission
Diesel fuel
2 wheel drive
Seller is asking $5000
Seller buys and sells vehicles for a living.
Seller is familiar with my family more or less. I dont know him personally.
He wasnt too helpful when answering my questions about the bus.
I asked if he could provide me more information on the company he bought the bus from (as he did not have any maintenance records.) He told me "I think you better shop somewhere else"

seller unwilling or unable to answer your questions about the bus...Then I agree with the seller, you should shop somewhere else.
Also, that's a petty small bus for three people, even if two of those people are pretty small.

Ya he just wants you to come in and buy it with the least number of questions so he doesn't have to reveal where he buys his busses and his lack of maintenance knowledge. See if you can buy one directly from a school district, govdeals etc. That would be a dandy bus to buy though with that good engine and mileage.

Yah that's what's keeping me away. I dont mind that he doesnt have the answers. Thus is a big decision and I'm asking questions so I wont make a mistake.

I'm going to call around transit stations and school districts. I'm sure I can find another. This Is just the first bus i came across in the first day of looking.

Or he doesn't want you to find out what problems it has had or still has. May be an "intermittant" problem that no one has found. Runs fine, until you get it down the road a day or two, then it dies.....
