Hi, I have been dreaming of doing a bus conversion for over a decade and now It is time to start shopping for a bus and get this party started....

To make thinks real interesting I have no prior knowledge or skills of any kind that will relate to this project  so I will have to learn it all as I go but thats ok thats what google is for 8)

The only thing I think is going to be really difficult to learn/do will be under the hood but hopefully I get lucky on that front.

I hope to find my bus soon, and slowly build it up over the next 10 years, then when the kids are grown be ready to full time it. My grandparents were full timers )(with a pull behind) and I stayed summers with them a lot and look forward to doing the same with my grandkids, guess I come from a family of gypsys :)

I am in oklahoma and hope to find a bus for less than $2,000 hopefully an automatic with air brakes I really like the look of an older bluebird dont really know enought about the diffrent engines but since I have to learn as I go anyway I suppose disel would be best.../shrug

Anyway just wanted to post who I was and why I was here before I started asking my crazy questions...

heh yeah 10 years is a long time to day dream, but I was in the military at the time and was not practical to begin, now I am closer to the point in life where I can go full time...still not there yet, but want the bus done by the time I am.
