Help Needed! Wiring Issue

Just got my 2002 International bus two weeks ago.
It runs great, but for some reason the fans/windshield wipers/speakers only work when the ignition is in the 'Start' position. We thought it was the ignition (the key was bad anyway) and just replaced it- no luck!
Has anyone run into something similar?

Did you replace the key-cylinder portion of the switch, or the electrical portion? (I haven't removed mine yet, so I'm not sure if both halves are made as one, or if they can be replaced separately). Is there a failed relay (my second guess)?

Since you replaced the ign sw, I think someone has wired it up wrong.

Any experience tracing wires? Got any pics of the switch itself from the backside of it with the connector?

Might be just a matter of moving wires from the switch to the proper breakers which are fed from the silver round solenoids you here when you turn the switch to ON.


Let us know what you got there, can't be too difficult.

Get yourself a multimeter too and learn how to use and read it.
