Help with possible purchase

Looking at an add of a 03 Bluebird 8.3 Cummins activity bus. Any history of problems with this power plant ? Also the add didn’t mention which tranny it had other than a 6 speed Allison. What would be a good mate or ones to avoid ? Thank You for your time.

8.3/6 speed is as good as it gets in a normal school bus.
