We live in the North Cascades of Washington State. I met BB this morning a short drive north from my current camp. He's almost ready for the road. The folks i bought him from bought him 4 years ago and stored him a dry barn while they started his transformation. seats out, floor stripped and sealed, 3/4" plywood covering 1 foam, walls and ceiling have been framed before spray foamed. wiring has been removed and rerouted, all new LED lights inside and out.
the basic stuff he can with, 30' flat nose, Blue Bird, front engine that looks clean and passed pretrip. Allison 2000 5 spd. that works and was serviced, when they got it. He has a 3126 e build date of 6/03 so no egr. yeah!!!
We are looking forward to giving him some of the soul his namesake had, B.B. King.He at this time has no sound system. that will be changed as soon as i can get an order into Crutchfield.

Happy to be here, keeno

You're starting off where it took me 1.5 years to get to. How much did she cost in that condition if you don't mind me asking

Hey nikitis, thanks for looking, i posted the pics from the ad and they were not impressive. BB looks way better in person. which was my first surprise; the interior, everything was smooth, dusty but smooth to the touch and the eye. one window on the drivers side was removed and filled, four on the passenger side, all windows removed and resealed. 2 new max air fans on the roof and a new larger "sun roof."
this couple did a heck of a job with the heavy lifting, she answered most of the questions or knew where to find the answers in the paper work.
luckily, i was the first one to look at him. i paid the full asking price, which might seem steep but it will get me on the road much faster and i was willing to pay them for a portion of that work. $8500.

That was a good price for that much work done. They probably lost money on it, even at asking price. You did well.

Congrats on the rig!

Concur! On my AmTran, I'm already well past your price (after purchase, tires, paint, inspection and registration) and other than removing seats, and having a paint job, I'm not near your level on the interior.

Nice looking bus!
