Alabama...for now
Hi Everyone - I am officially in for a penny in for a pound. Bought a 1991 International 3/4 school bus with a Thomas body. In the shop now getting the engine pulled apart and cleaned up. Diagnosis thus far, engine good, needs lots of TLC. Since the price was $1500 I planned to spend a bit to get her up and running. This is my retirement plan - turning it into a mobile studio/tinyhouse.

First question...anyone know where I can get some replacement windows (schoolbus style) or any suggestions on changing out for RV windows? I bought it at auction and apparently someone was pretty mad they didn't get it and made sure to smash 4 of the windows before I picked it up.

Sure glad I found this forum! - Pam

Welcome. if you bought it on auction and the photos didn't show damaged windows, I think that they should have replaced them before you drove it off the lot. surf craigslist and similar sites. I have seen windows on there before. also, members near you may be removing windows and could gift you some (for little or no cost).

Bus Pics.

Two pics, more to come. Currently at the mechanics for a overhaul.
