Hi all,
I am an engineering teacher in a Fort Worth area Career and Tech High school and was just recently given a bus to use as a teaching tool. This has been a long time dream of mine and I am excited to get students involved in a schoolie build. I have tons of ideas and have experience with building an off grid tiny house so there is very little that I am concerned with technically. I am simply hoping to connect with some folks in the DFW area that could help me kick off our project by letting us see what they have done. The internet is great and we can see and learn lots of things, but there is just nothing like walking through a space to help you imagine the possibilities.
I am used to car clubs that get together and have resources on their forums to help newbies get connected, but haven’t come across that with this community just yet. If anyone knows of some locals that they could connect me with, my students and I would greatly appreciate it!

Thanks!

Hey...I never finished High School (ran off to go play in Viet Nam at age 17)...so...can I come take your class and wrap up my diploma!? Sounds like a whole lot more fun than I was having in '61. My school was such a BORE back then!

Excellent idea. Best of luck!

Sounds cool.

Look forward to seeing what you come up with.

I'm an engineer in San Francisco, so not much for shop visit, but happy to talk tech any time.
