So, i was looking over the local laws and regulations regarding Bus + RV for overall length. found out im allowed 75' and hoping bus is less then 35' long.. but the disturbing thing i came across was the maximum hitch offset.. here it is 1.8 meters (5.9 feet) so that has me slightly worried. never knew there was a regulation about that and now it could throw a hamper into the plans. Anyone else come across this?

I don't think there is a spec down here, at least I've never heard of it. A google search didn't really come up with anything. I suggest contact whoever is in charge of enforcing the law(DOT in the states) and see what they have to say. Also go to a place that sells a lot of large stick and staple motor homes and see what they say. I would say that all diesel pushers exceed that.

only bus things or recreational vehicle info was for full size buses like greyhounds etc and no mention of towing capacities. just max overhang of 4 meters (13 feet) and im at 9' for my bus..

gonna have to call in and see about this cause its a heck of an overhang but i still think it should be acceptable to pull a trailer with it.

n usa mostly u gotta be concerned with is total length as some states allow only 65 feet. course no one checks a rv much.. good thing, cause you only get three tire dings on your semi's...n i got more than that on my bus.

I know a lot of 3/4 and 1 ton trucks with long campers installed in the bed use extensions on the hitches to clear the campers when towing...no problems
