How did y'all patch the holes left from the seat posts ? I was thinking silicone, but I don't know if it will hold up

We used to call that "kitty hair" or "tiger hair"
Rebuilt most of a floor in a rotted out 73 bronco with that stuff and some liberated no parking signs...

I used 3M Dynatron 550 seam sealer to fill mine. The Bondo products aren't waterproof so you will have to get underneath and coat them to keep them from absorbing water.

I sanded away any rust, sprayed Rustoleum Rust Reformer, and then filled the holes with Henry 212 Crystal Clear. I love that stuff. A month later, it's rock hard solid and it ain't goin' anywhere. It was a great choice.

I think I like this idea. Would it soak into a fiberglass mat, you think?

I definitely think so. And a month later, since I haven't gotten to putting my floors down yet, I've tripped over the nubs several times lol. I decided to test one and try to yank it out...no go. The plugs are firm and not coming out. Super waterproof, so I'll be using it in several areas. I originally bought it to seal a window that was leaking.

Did you try that and what do you think if you did?

Sadly, since I have purchased my bus, I haven't had a single day off. I am stalled for the near future. I see light at the end of the tunnel, and hopefully will get to something other than starting it and taking it on short hops around the neighborhood (but it is a head turner)

Sorry you haven't had time, that stinks. I hope you get some soon. The heats been brutal anyway as you know and I've been sweating buckets. One day I was close to heat exhaustion and had to stop.
When you do get some time off and decide to use it, let me know how impressed you are ;)

Only did 4 holes as a test. Worked great.

That's awesome. I haven't put my flooring in yet...It's been a year now of stepping all over them everyday and those plugs are tough.
I really like the Henry's crystal clear 212 and find I'm using it alot during my build. But also, all I do is plug up the tube with a screwdriver...can pick it up to use it a couple weeks later and it's not clogged and good to go. I also use it as glue for the felt strips I put around the windows when insulating. And... I fill in all gaps where water might enter around the window. And...I run a fat line of it along the bottom edge of the windowsill before replacing the windows.
It's good stuff. If you make a mistake, wait for it to set and peel it off easily.
I can't say enough good things about it and the many ways I've used it. I might even name my bus Henry when I'm all through LOL
