Hey folks,
I'm not sure the correct name for the part I'm looking for. It is the rubber gasket or weather stripping that the inside of the top of the hood sits on. It is connect to the cab side of the engine compartment. It is shot. While I'm sure I can rig something up... I'd prefer to try find the correct part. Also the rubber from the stands (?) that the hood rests on are shot. I'll post pictures tomorrow when it is day light.
I'm just trying to find the name of the items so that I can replace them. If anyone has a link to the items, that would be great.
If I can't find a replacement, I think maybe just some thick rubber weather stripping may do the job?
Actually, I'll go out with the flashlight and take a picture now.
