Hood Replacement?

Hello Skoolie Family!

We are looking at purchasing a bus that is a perfect fit for us but it would need to have the hood replaced soon. Does anyone have any suggestions or recommendations as to where to order a replacement hood from? The bus is a Freightliner and the OEM for the hood we need is A17-14774-009. The previous owner ordered his replacement hoods from a Truck performance company that ships out of Pennsylvania, since we live in Florida we are trying to find someplace that may have the part somewhere in the South.

Salvage yard, be a bunch cheaper than anew one.

Freightliner box-truck hood should interchange. Check boneyards for a good used one, or buy a dead/wrecked identical bus to cannibalize one from.


These hoods ain't cheap, can the existing one be repaired?
