Hoosier in Afghanistan !!!

Hello to all,
I live in French Lick Indiana ( southern part) currently in Bagram Afghanistan till Nov 2017 then Home and retirement I can't wait...I am 62. Plans are to buy a rear engine 40 ft. and convert it to travel in.
I hope all have a Merry Christmas and a Great New Years !!!!

I've always liked that name - French Lick. Too bad the town doesn't live up to it.

Sooooo disappointed to discover that the name just came from a French trading post built near a spring and salt lick. But hey...it was home to Larry Bird.

With 2 Historic Hotels and a Casino there now,,, French Lick,,, does live up to its name now !!!!!!
I work for the Dept. of Defense and working on and around the Bagram Air Base here in Afghanistan,,,, I would have to kill you if I told you what I did ,,, LOL,, just kidding.
I have been lurking here for a year or so,,, I return next Nov. to Home and will be buying a 40 Re,,, I have some "custom" plans for it ,, our son lives in Southern California and we will be traveling in it...
Really like this site and all the great info!!! I will stay safe and keep you all informed..
