Making the GenSet tray I went to a local welder and asked about welding a piece of 2" x 3" angle to each end of the plate. He quoted me $20/ft which included the 2 pieces of angle and mig welding them on. Would have been $80, no thank you.
Went to the steel salvage yard where they charged me $7 for the material and $10 to stick weld them together, $17.
