What are you guys using for cables to connect house batteries.
I found a few on ebay an such but none to fit my needs.
The inverter requires 0 awg min prefer to run 2/0 to it. Id like to use 0 awg to connect the bank of batteries together. I picked up 6 Napa DeepCycle marine batteries Group 27 180 min RC. They should work good. Anyway the batteries have both std. lugs and wing nut type.
Help me with some Ideas.
Im also thinking of just making my own.

I plan on doing a bit of both.
use store bought for the smaller "jumpers" etc with nice factory stamped lugs. (same for starter battery)

I'm locating the house batts more midship, so i'm going to want custom length heavy (welding) cable. that i'll jsut buy by the foot.

unfortunately i've not yet done this, so advice is a bit moot.

I went to a battery dealer that also makes custom cables. These custom cables are made form 00 welding cable. They're super flexible, and can handle tons of current. They were a bit pricy though. I prob have almost $100 into the cables.

I picked up a lot of 3/0 cable lugs from ebay and plan to make my own.
i think 3/0 will be plenty my 3000 (6000watt surge) inverter recc. 1/0.
Just need to build the frame to hang the batteries under the left side of the bus behind the fuel tank.
