So Cal (until I find my bus)
Hello,

First time poster, long time viewer!

I'm going all in. Put my house on the market and am looking for a bus. Currently bidding on a 2001 Blue Bird Cummings 5.9 and Allison 3060 combo the combination I've been looking for.

Question: As the bus in a different state and I will have no opportunity to inspect it, is there any recourse if it is badly rusted? Will I be out the money or could it be salvaged. Bus located in Aurora Colorado, I'm in So Cal (can't wait to leave!!!)

Thanks in advance,

Bugs

main thiung i hear is be careful about bring non cali busses into cali.. some people are having to fit up DPF filters and other emissions crap to register.. so I would check first with local DMV and others here to make sure cali law doesnt bite you..

Welcome Bugs,

I would contact the seller and ask about rust. Perhaps back it up with an email to document the conversion. If they have misrepresented the condition you should have recourse.

That said, Colorado buses have a good reputation for being solid. I have heard good things here from folks that bought Colorado buses.
