The second pictured bus is a 1950s AEC Reliance from England with Burlingham Seagull coachwork. AEC made excellent mid-engine buses and coaches - I have fond memories of going on school trips in an AEC Reliance that would routinely do 90 MPH down the long slopes off the South Downs. Rubbernecker windows are OK in cooler climates, but imagine having them in California in summer! One ECW-bodied Bristol MW in which I often traveled had so many leaks in its top windows that us passengers used our umbrellas inside when it was raining outside!
