How do you handle the actual sale?

I have dealt with two different sellers one for $15,000 and one for $5,600 and both wanted cash. Not a cashier's check but cash. Is that how this works now?

Depends entirely on the seller.

I paid for my latest bus with a credit card. Prior bus was a wire transfer and the one before that was a cashiers check.

I think that some have become cautious when it comes to cashiers checks due to the ease of counterfitting them.

Personally, I like cash.

You do have to be careful with cash and banks now days. If you just go into the bank and withdraw 15k you will be red flagged for federal investigation. It is better to get it out over a period of time.

When you have large amounts of cash do not go to bad neighborhoods. You have money, no need to be in places like that.

If you feel insecure take a friend to the transaction or take two.

Not to mention the Police will 'appropriate' that cash from you. Asset forfeiture is real and happens to car buyers regularly.

It's up to you to prove it's legit by hiring a lawyer, takes many months.

Yes, indeed. I have heard some very bad stories about this. People on their way to buy a car or truck spending years to trying to get hard earned money back only to not get it back.

I have met people who did not feel safe carrying cash in their bank lobby.

I'm going to go the cash route with a friend. Meet at a public place and it should be OK.

Man those prices are tough. Are they converted? or Crowns?
I bought both mine with Discover, for convenience. One was $2150 in KY, one was $1760 in CO. Both are great and got home to FL without any issues at all. The one that was $1760 even came with one year old tires.

2004 and it's been totally gone through by a cat shop. Tons of new parts. It's at a shop now finishing everything up.

Meet at your local bank branch & have them cut a check or if cash is a must, tell the seller you will meet them at a police station. If the seller is legit you will have a nice bus if not you will have your $.

Just had all new fuel injectors put in, new batteries, new thermostat and housing, new clutch fan assembly, new TCM. The body does have rust
