My husband and I are looking into getting a bus to transform into a skoolie... My concern is space. We live in an apartment and know no one close enough w/space for a bus.. Ideas? Suggestions?

This is the first thing to consider when attempting a bus build. This takes time and planning, so try to find at least 2 places to do your build for when the first place wants it gone.

Good luck!

If you live anywhere near a lake or camping areas there will always be RV/Boat storage lots nearby. I just checked locally and while they had no covered slips for 40'er, outside storage was $58/month
U-Haul rental centers also often have RV storage

Most storage places won't let you work on them in their lot.

This varies a lot.

In my time here I've heard that U-Haul storage tends to be relaxed about that if you leave no mess.

Lots of private storage facilities too that are full of RVs. A friendly chat with the owner might produce results if he/she likes you.

I think it just depends on how much noise you make, the neighborhood...here's a thought...how about a salvage yard? Way back out of way? Rental lots in industrial areas...I'm gonna be in the same spot you are when I get a bus...
