How gross is it to drain your sink into your shower pan / tub?

I'm going to have my kitchen sink and my step tub (like this one: Icon 24" x 36" White Right Hand Bathtub - Step/Seat Tubs - Bath Tubs - Bathtubs and Shower Pans - Plumbing) right next to each other, so I was thinking that for simplicity I could just have the sink drain run into the tub (and then the tub drain would run right to the external port and my gray water tank.

Is there a good reason not to do something like this? I'd use a strainer in the sink so that odd bits of lettuce and whatnot wouldn't end up in my tub. I could run the sink drain pipe underneath the tub and connect with its drain underneath, but I may run into placement issues with the wheel well here.

My wife wouldn't go for it.
Because even with dish soap the bacteria left from food(raw from prep and cooked) are never all always caught buy just a single strainer. So unless you scrubbed the shower bath floor before every use then that's what you would be standing sitting in each time you bathe.
It's not a normal practice.
Depending on where you plan on being? Grey water from sink and shower can be dumped directly on the ground.
But that definitely depends on location.

That's reasonable, I guess I'll plumb like a normal person. Hopefully I'll be in an RV park (Philly appears to be a bad place for trying to live in a skoolie) so having a single external drain thing would be better than two holes in the floor.

I was also planning on draining my washing machine into the tub, which seems more reasonable although possibly still a bad idea? My thought is that I don't know if the washer is going to be a permanent feature or not so I don't want to devote too much effort to its plumbing.

I would do this and work around the connection issues as it is only water waste, not many solids. Just use a P trap on your kitchen drain and then connect as require under the tub.

Consider the first time someone using the sink forgets that someone else is in the tub - yuck!

Please forgive the thread drift here. I have a 40 gallon grey tank that services the kitchen sink (and shower water via a sump pump) and I must say that the stink from the sink grey water is nearly worse than from the black tank! As long as I keep a healthy dose of bleach in the tank the smell isn't overpowering. I've had a chuckle or two imagining dirty dish water cascading over my feet during a shower etc.

Speaking of dish water, I did a quick study of which dish washing product works best for cutting (emulsifying) grease and Dawn ultra Platinum is head and shoulders the best. The last thing you want is for cooking grease to collect in your grey water tank--never mind your shower.

I stayed in an apartment once were somebody had plumbed a sink into the shower and it was extremely gross. Over time it would build up a terrible smell and you would have to run a snake and bleach through the drain to clean out the organic particles that had collected and were venting decomposition gases into the bathroom.
