60 gallon tank in my bus. not sure of MPG as I am still building it and haven't taken it on any trips yet.
Thanks to everyone who has responded. What is considered to be a "good price" for a 100 gallon tank? Is it easy to find rectangular tanks?
Yes, I saw that...that is why I was asking for what a GOOD price would be

Your definition of "good" may be unreasonable if you can't find one in your price range.
182 gallons - 1200 miles-ish. Couple more advantages - choice of fuel stops (best pricing) and, if using diesel for heating - lots of heating "time."

Yes, good quality things are expensive. I was hoping to find someone who had found a substitute product that was cheaper, i.e. a gas tank from a 2005 Kenworth that could be purchased from a wrecking yard for $200, etc.
I have seen some rather large rectangular tanks attached to the outsides of cement trucks and such. They look to be well over 50 gallons. I have tried googling for those and never have productive searches. Any suggestions for how to search?
