How to use Deltacad???

Hey all-
I am trying to design my first Skoolie and got a free version of Delta cad after some advice from a friend. The only problem is I don't know how to use it, and tutorials online are spotty at best. I just need to know how to make to scale models, using the software. Thank you!!!

Pencil and ruler still work, often faster than CAD. You're going to change your mind a number of times anyway before you're done.

I used Google sketchup just because I knew it. Pencil & paper, then cardboard cutout work just as good.

easy to learn and you can download a bus right into your model from their warehouse.

I am doing graph paper and pencil. Can make multiple sketches in the time it took me to figure out how to make the rectangle on SketchUp lol.

Hey, bus sketches are supposed to be drawn on your i-plank.

As info, I loved Versacad when I was in college, but sadly I don't have it on any machines now.

I was using a cartography cad program while working for uncle sam. Paper and pencil have their own merits for designing a box to live in.

i wonder if we could set up a library of our user files to share?

i may know how to use sketchup but sharing is way over my head.

It's easily possible to do that simple sketch planning using Paint, which everyone has. Maybe not quite as pretty as cad, but effective.

3d warehouse is sketchup's part share location. But my model is huge and constantly changing. You can find all sorts of furniture, vehicles, RV stuff.

My model on sketchup is 61+ Mb in size and sketchup has a limit of 50Mb
