Now that I will no longer have Shorty can I call my van a bus?

I have been learning from you people for a long time and will miss being a member of the Skoolie club.

Internationals wife.

keep us and drive it yourself.. :) or get your own bus and drive it :)

in my family we always went places in separate cars.. even family vacations with 5 of us there were 2 cars......

so why cant there be 2 busses??

heck i want 2 busses and im only one person!!

Cadi, After all these years with hubby I'd be lost without my co pilot next to me.

Just washing that bus fpr us old people is beginning to be a job. And its time to wax it after its new paint job and wax on wax off is a major job.

Kids have grandkids of their own now so not much help there anymore.

I'll still use my tent on extended stays though. Last time we stayed at my daughters house in a tent she said i looked like a flying saucer landed in her back yard for a month.

Ok so the feeling isn't mutual obviously after 40 of you viewed the thread and no replies. :whistling:

Oh well still learend lots here even if my corny little [ with slight attempt at being comical ] comments were ignored.. Cadi did reply an was nice. :Thanx: Cadi.

Ageing out of skoolie live sucks but friendships never really end.

Administration should have an area for retired skoolies, because you are always welcome as far as this noobie is concerned.

You can take the friend out of the Skoolie, but you can't take the Skoolie out of the friend.

Busses come and go but friends are forever. We're friends now, bus or no bus.

You've been here a short while, but next time you own a bus, share the experience with us from start to finish instead of just the sale.:thumb:

East Coast, I've been on here for years. I just forgot my password and my old puter went out so my email changed and I had trouble getting back on so gave up.

We only decided day before yesterday to sell Shorty.

I was Meerkat on here for several years. Then we were going to add solar so we came back and he joined.

We still have the solar but soon no bus. He is not as much into travel as I am so not a happy camper at times due to back pain, lots of metal and cages and that makes me have to work harder and I'm OLD. :surrender:

Then hubby got new puter and he joined for first time. This is his first ever forum to join, he mostly watched youtube for gardening, guitars and stuff.

Ok thanks Boss. I like the Patton sig.

Here is another one I like. Not that I agree with all she was about of course but Ayn Rand was right about this one.

"You can ignore reality, but you can't ignore the consequences of ignoring reality."

Right now I'm trying to ignor the complicating circumstances of convering my van.

in other words you are complicating converting your van to use it as an excuse to go buy another school bus :)
