I bought a bus!

Hey All,
I am very excited to say I just put down a deposit on a 2001 International/AmTran 7 window bus. Its 25,500lbs GVWR, T444e engine, MT643 Trans with 4.78 rear gears and hydraulic brakes. 144K on the odometer, fresh out of school service.

I took it out on a test drive and she drove great. I got it up to 65mph and she drove very smoothly and didn't feel like she was struggling, probably would have gone faster had I asked her to.

As with any thread, pics are needed, here are the only two I have.

I'm very excited about it.

It would appear as if you got yourself a pretty good bus.

Most of the First Student buses for sale around here are so beat up and worn out I would not suggest purchasing any of them except for a movable shed or chicken coop.
