I love my side door.

I have my kitchen counter in front of the side door. Quite a labor saver for me. No more carrying six bags or so of groceries and then getting them up the steps and then to the kitchen. I pull my minivan alongside the drivers side and leave just enough room to open the door on the van. I have three levels that i can use to get stuff inside. The middle shelf will easily accept a 35 bottle case of Water. I just pull it on through and put it in it's place. I guarantee you that carrying bags while using a cane or crutches is a real pain. No more pain with my side door.:Thanx:

My work is so crude that i am embarrassed to put up photos. Sometimes i have to tear it out and start over. Much of my crappy looking work can be covered up by someone good at trim etc. I have done about 80% of the work on the interior and did it from a swivel office chair with wheels. It all works for me and i have just spent a total of 5 months in it. I highly recommend that anyone with a walking problem to go LINEAR in a bus. Sit in a wheel chair or swivel chair and build your counters down low.

Ours will be very similar.

Although that side door will actually be in the bathroom, it's right next to the kitchen and will make for easy loading/unloading.

That's why I wanted to keep it accessible.

It used to take me quite a bit of time and it is so easy for me.Definitely increases my quality of life tenfold.
