yep that was it!!! I had a total sleeper.. it was ordered with the wire wheel covers and the quarter landau top.. the interior was unmistakable as it had buckets and rally gauges..

most of them were 307s or 350s.. the 455s were a special deal... not many of them made. I never realized that till later.. I fixed the car up, paimted it the original color, and drove it around as a daily driver.. I got struck by lightning in that car... literally. i suppose thats why my brain is a little wierd..

Ok guys iv been looking for parts for the original 345 that is in the bus but i am having trouble finding a distributor for it. Does anyone know if another distributor out of like a chevy or anything will work with it. Thanks in advance for the answers

that 345 should be the same as what was in the scouts.. we had one in our first scout and it looked just like what ive seen in the busses..
