Ok. Everyone seems to go with composting toilets. That’s fine. Some may even say admirable. But I’m not down.
I understand the appeal of no black tank, less trips to the RV dump and less water use. But I plan to live full-time in my bus. I plan to be connected or close to RV dumps/water regularly.
Furthermore, I like my creature comforts and would like a bidet. I know. Weird. But we all have our idiosyncrasies. Maybe yours is that composting toilet.
Are there any actual concerns with putting a normal residential toilet in a bus? It has to be vented. Could that somehow create a vacuum that takes said human excrement out the vent pipe to the roof? Is the wax seal a concern? I’ve been looking at this for years, but never got this far into it. Now, I’m in the process of planning my build (I’ve nearly finished gutting the bus and preparing it for the buildout).
Basically, are the only concerns those which involve boondocking or are their other concerns with a normal residential toilet that I’m not thinking of?
