from my experience, conventional front engine schoolies tend to do much better than their flat nosed or rear engined cousins in low traction enviroments.

The problem with a skoolie off road is that if it gets stuck it's the biggest thing around....can't just use a pickup truck to yank it out.

this is coming from a someone who once had a $3500 tow bill after getting stuck on the beach in texas. All Texas Towing....what a bunch of lying cheating SOB's!

Welcome to the gang. The best option for storing your bus when you live in town is knowing someone who has a farm nearby! I've had to store my bus 26 miles away from my home in the city because I had no room to keep it. It's very inconvenient. Otherwise you could look at renting a spot at an RV storage facility, but that could cost a hundred or more bucks a month.
