Read, read, read, and read some more. All the information you need is out there, somewhere. You're probably not going to be reinventing the wheel, but just tweaking it slightly for your own needs. The Northern Arizona Wind & Sun forum is a good resource for solar matters, and HandyBob has some things to say about solar that make sense, sort of.

Thanks, I may have one started for 12V, I'll have to see. It's way more complicated than my AC. I'm sure what ever I have is out of date. I have a number of small diagrams for individual circuits. No solar yet but, I'm starting to do my research. If I can come up with the cash I may do something like my son has using LiPo only in 12V.
