Hi there,

Fellow skoolie owner. My conversion is almost complete and unfortunately I am having a really hard time finding an insurance company that will quote me. My rental is about to end and I am counting on my bus to be my daughter and I’s future home, I cannot back off from this project. I’ve spent the past YEAR working 12 hour days on this.

I need any information you have on finding insurance in Quebec, Canada.

PS : my bus is not registered as an RV, as it is too complicated here in the province.

Thank you.

Best regards,

Arianne

I just spent a year, in the states, dealing with insurance so I can sympathize. I can't help you since you're in Canada. I see you're new here so you might not know there is a folder under conversion resources specifically for "Titles, Insurance, Registration and Money Matters", perhaps someone from the Great North has posted something there that might help.

While it might be complicated to register your bus as an RV that might be something you need to investigate more closely.
