Found this picture Online while google diving. I can't however find any records of any Lone Star School Buses? Is this a one off design by our more crafty and resourceful South American brethren? If so, I'm totally digging all the chrome.

Think a the whitewalls would go well with it along with a new paint job though

How hard would it be to salvage a front clip off of a semi such as that and do the cosmetic transformation?

I'd say yes, zoom in and look at the top of the hood at the rear of the grill, then look at the same place on the other picture.There appears to be an odd angle. The grill is actually too big.

I must say though, it is kind of pretty.
 
It's common for those South American bus owners to fit their International buses with front clips from Lonestars and other International trucks. Other than the hood clip it's just your standard IC bus.
 
its a standard bluebird conventional... a nicely dressed up one indeed! the frame length and ride height arent even close to a semi...
