Hello everyone,
I am hoping there is someone in the Jacksonville FL area who has electrical experience. I did the thing where you remove to many things and now the bus won't start. I've tried on and off for ~2 weeks trying to figure out how to close the circuit to the emergency doors with no luck and I am out of patience.
I've beaten myself up every time I walk in to the bus and my electrical experience is lacking. The bus hasnt run in almost a month and I don't want to keep trying blindly. I've searched dozens of forums and videos and nothing is clicking with me on what to do.
The bus is a 1998 AmTran 8 window bus. I removed all the speaker, light, emergency, and "school" wiring. I have a working diagram that I was blessed with but it hasn't helped me at all undo my mistakes. I felt i was systematically removing wires that went to nowhere or weren't useful but that was obviously wrong. I have kept all the wires in a garbage bagstill but some are cut multiple times.
The batteries have a breaker switch that is always off when not in use and when I turn it on and turn the ignition, nothing but a single click. The buzzer is also constantly going off.
If someone can help me in any way I would be very grateful. Ill be checking replies regularly and willing to work with anyone willing to help.
