It is official. I have taken the plunge.

+1 on interested in seats if you arent too far of a drive from ohio.. (since I keep all my busses with seats and dont convert)

great looking bus.. the HDX is one of my favorite platforms.. they are tried and true..

the windows should open but most likely are stuck because they were never opened, seeing as the bus has air conditioning..

Does anybody know of a use for seats like this, or are they just something to be tossed in the dumpster.

where are you located? - some of those seats would be useful for me if there was a practical way of getting them to me

I was seeing a lot of engine compartments that looked like this, even in the Southeast. This is a shot of a bus I looked at in central Virginia.

The seats are presently in Colorado. I could bring them to the Midwest, SE Wisconsin to be specific. I am thinking of either unbolting them and stacking them in the back of the bus or selling them to a scrap metal dealer in Colorado. As I drive the bus back to WI on 60 day temporary plates, I thought I should do everything I can to Be as much like an RV as possible as I have no bus endorsement or classification on my license.

Lake Geneva Wisconsin, where I am based, is about 440 miles from Columbus. Let me know if you are seriously interested in the seats. It might influence my decision as to whether I leave them in Colorado or transport them home.

Sweet bus! Don't drive with them unbolted. They could be seriously dangerous in a fast stop.

Absolutely!

I was in an accident a few years ago. I had a 40# bag of dog food at the very back of my pickup bed. When I crashed the bag of dog food can through the back window and snapped the headrest off of the front seat.

Several years ago I bought some parts and pieces out of a wrecked class A RV. When I got there to pick up the parts I got a good look the RV. The passenger seat was nowhere to be seen and the couch was protruding about two feet out of the passenger side windshield.

SECURE EVERYTHING!!

Seats

Nice find in that bus. Great power plant and fixing the air shouldn’t be too difficult. Disconnect the clutch power to keep it from cycling before you drive far So you don’t cause serious (expensive) damage.
Those are very nice seats. They look to be in good condition. I would be interested in 5 rows of those seats. My old Skoolies are quite ya know old. I could make it to Wisconsin, sometime.

I just bought 3 seats that look exactly like those ones - recently recovered the guy said, then the bus wound up on it's side - the guy I bought the seats from bought the bus for it's drive train for the bus he is converting - paid $20 ea

So come on everyone, I know everybody is dieing to know.
Do I have to be the one to ask?
What exactly would someone have to shell out for a sweet platform like this?

That’s a nice catch for sure! I’d be in for a couple seats but shipping prices them out.
