I'm building a garage behind my bed in the back of the bus...

If I build it solid, I'm screwed it the fridge goes out, or I want to add different pieces of furniture!
I tend to overbuild everything I touch... If 4 screws will hold it, 6 bolts are better!
I've gotta piece that back wall into sections, so I can break it down... And my 32" pocket doors are a bust too!!!

Why not just have a door from the bedroom to the garage?

The wall will be fashioned into my headboard....
I'll build the wall and have door hinges and pins on the garage side the I can pop out and remove 40" middle section of wall when needed.

Leaning toward dog eared red cedar pickets on a grey and spackle troweled OSB wall. Or thinned liquid nailed v notch swirl troweled for better adhesion than Sheetrock mud.

That's funny because we have the same issue. Three walls in the bus, with 22" doors. We had to build the clawfoot bathtub into the bus before the walls. Then when I remodeled the back room and moved around the chest freezer, I inadvertently made the goat pen in such a way that I can't remove the freezer! It died last week and now we have a permanent heavy duty storage bin! Hahahaha

Who says I can't use 6" C Purlin for my bed support?!?!?
Since it was free.... Cheap is good, free is better!

Since it's got to be removable, in case the fridge goes out!

4 pieces total... Won't need center leg support! Wide open underneath.
