Hey, how did you do the exhaust on the A/C do you have pics?

I cut a 14x14 hole with a cover and a fan...this is being redone this winter

I will keep the intake EXACTLY THE SAME; and the exhaust will be out the front, there is too much thermal heating of everything and it doesnt work very good, so I will modify and post new pictures, very similar to the way Lorna did her's

both of thos cars had the same lights, I also have 4 more that will get redone for the rear of the bus and drivers front

CC the picture of the munsters reminds me...I plan to use dark woods and red velvet and brass for the interior of the 36

But I have to say I read all 77 pages of this thread over 2 days and when I got to the chandelier for a moment I thought I was gonna see this.

Bansil, I've been perusing your build and I love the fabrication you've done throughout your whole process. That front AC is genius. Plus, I'm glad to see a fellow East Tennessean building a bus. La Tortuga is a helluva bus too! I hope I get to see her one day. I'm a total amateur, but I get a lot of ideas from watching you. I'm down to my final stages of getting the interior finished to live in, but I've kind of run out of design ideas. Insulating the front of it and figuring out interior walls in the front and back corners have me flustered. I've got a buddy who's much more experienced in carpentry to help me do some stuff in Knoxville (after my next paycheck lol)

How will you keep rain water from blowing into the a/c air intakes, especially while driving? Did you make louvers or covers?

We have never had an issue, of course with the vents on the bottom and terminal velocity of 55 mph, there isn't a lot of force to push rain up the windshield :biggrin:

I will be redoing the front AC, it isnt effecicnt enough, there is too much hot air in the hidden panel and it supper heats the ac and just doesn't cool very good

I will be keeping the intakes where the are and I will stick the rear of the ac to front panel like Lorna did in her build "what color to paint rims" this will get ride of hot air better

Cool, it all about having a good time, this spring I ned to get back on the bus and do some work for a fall trip.

The mini farm thing took most of last year to get going

SO your about 2 hours from us, we get down to knoxville area a couple times a year (pigeon forge/Gatlinburg)
