Its actually tan(almond) and then some mnt graphics in a color.....that has no name :shock: actually forgot
And the blue tape is really radiesintallyhomograficallyspectrologriphyically colored pin stripe for the 2nd coat of paint tommorow :mrgreen:

Not to be a pain in the a$$, but I think radiesintallyhomograficallyspectrologriphyically is actually spelled with a capital R--at least it was on the roll of tape I used on my bus. HA!

i thought i recognized that color, it looks like the roof on mine did you use rustoleum almond?

Yes rustoleum 7770,have had good luck in past with rustoleum.

You are just in the 16% area where it was supposed to rain. Wet paint attracts rain and bugs like mobile home parks attract tornadoes.

Quick post.
The "fancy" blue tape which was supposed to aid me this AM,getting 2nd coat on...backfired...or shall I say "backfilled" I awoke to the sounds of pitter patter on the roof,and it wasn't rain deer :shock:....first thought was shiat!!!...the bus will be floaded with 3" water dams at each window.
I embrassed the situation...(cue james bond music :mrgreen: )...grabbed my robe and rain jacket,thru on a set of boots...and braved the storm!!
Ran outside and grabbed the tape and pulled....driverside first,and was promptly drenched every 3' as I ran around the bus.....with 2 huge piles of tape thrown upon the ground,I reintered our humble aboad and made coffee....waiting for the sun to rise.
Guess what no water running in bus!!!woowooo...not sure why tho'...but I was happy.
Will post some pics in the am....at least some more paint was applied....

So to change up the front I experimendeted a little bit

and the back

pulled the stop sign assy,so I can modify it to a "caution TURTLE CROSSING" type of sign

its looking good, painting around the black window gaskets in the back is a pain isn't it?

I use 2 inch wide masking tape, overlay and push down with my plastic handle, and razor knife the edge cut...

HA HA BC, very funny---but you know with that black FE you may be right Seriously, I know that some of the brand new busses have black front ends and it sort of updates the age a bit but I think it will be a B---- to keep clean.

After years in Army,I know what P.O.D. is ( :wink: ) so after a few trips and several more layers of black it will look like fancy bedliner was originally applied
