Hi
I am looking for a larger gas tank for my 87 Bluebird, the current tank is about 35 gallons, I was thinking about buying a gas tank off a semi and mounting, I want at least 100 gallons if it was 200 gallons and will fit where the stock tank is thats ok too.

Tired if dealing with fuel stops seems like every time I stop for fuel I loose at least 45 minutes and have to deal with really really dumb people.

On a few of my trips I have seen gas prices fluctuate as much as .37 a gallon in one day, I see it cheap I want to top off....

I live in Illinois, any ideas where to look for a used semi gas tank?

Thanks in advance.

I have a 90 gallon tank that I bought for my bus a few years ago to use for veggie oil that I never got around to using. I paid $100 for it. The tank is brand new, and would fit between my frame behind the rear axle. Here's a few pictures of it, let me know if you're interested.

Thanks for the reply...
I have a 46 gallon tank a buddy gave me out of a boat that will fit behind the rear axle but I rather try and find a semi tank that will go where the stock tank is first, guess I have to find a semi junk yard?

Anybody?

Phil, are you still selling that tank? Are you going to burning man maybe?

still have the tank, I'd imagine it'd cost a lot to ship as it's big and heavy.

I'm not going to burning man.. maybe some year I'll make it out there.

It seems like everything costs a lot these days. :( If I find a way to get it shipped I'll get it. Thanks.
