LED lighting

Has anyone replaced their OEM interior lighting with super bright LED's? Mine are so dim that I'm wanting more illumination especially the steps.

I don't know about super bright LED's but we replaced most of our dome lights with LED's (we kept a few original so we could see the difference). The LED's are much brighter and use much less "juice" but they are also much more expensive. All things considered we are very happy we made the change.

Yes, I replaced all of my dome lights with LEDs that used the same type of bulb base. Just plug and play. I made sure to go with a "warm" color of LED instead of something brighter. I have way more light and it doesn't hurt your eyes. I believe I purchased mine from superbrightleds.com

I buy cheap led light from ebay and make my own fixtures. I prefer the daylight over the soft. My old eyes need all the light I can get.
