Hey everyone. I recently bought a bluebird with the c7 engine. I’ve been driving across the country towards Montana Idaho area and there’s a light that I’m pretty sure has to do with the air brakes is staying on while I’m driving. I don’t know much about the c7 and I’m in the middle of my move in eastern montana. Trying not to take it to a shop quite yet. Anyone know what it means?

Dash looks to be around '04-06. That is the brake press light. Could be a bad brake switch or a shorted wire. Does the cruise control work?

The activated brake switch will cancel the cruise control when the pedal is pressed or in case of a bad switch. If the rear lights are lit up then vehicles behind you will not know when you are braking.
What year of bus (Vision?) is this? The parking brake is air but do you have hydraulic or air service brakes? You probably need to replace the brake switch when you get a chance.
