Looking for an opinion too

Well, I bought my bus from them and it was everything they said it would be. I did have the luxury of inspecting it beforehand, of course. How firm are they on the price? They gave me a good deal compared to their posted price.

If you would like I'd HAPPILY go give it an inspection for you. I don't want to make myself too liable for your purchase, but I think you would understand that. Tim is a good guy to work with. I've dealt with him a few times through work as well. They are only probably 2 miles from where I work so it really is no problem. I could even snap some pictures if you wanted. Let me know.

... Hey THAT would be great if you could go over and take a look-see at this puppy for me... They quoted me 2500, and I asked if it was OTD (Out The Door)... Well, they didn't say...
... I'm not looking for a parts wagon, I'm looking for a runner that I can reasonably expect to be able to make it into a skoolie conversion... Well you know the story...

BTW... did you make it down to Chicago for your spring break ?

... Oh and if you could snap some pix of the underbody for me, that would be great too... and you know, take a look at the engine, kick the tires, let me know if that rust is as bad as it looks from the pictures...

... Don't worry about giving me an opinion, believe me I'll appreciate it...

... THANKS

I will try and get up there when I can. It might be tomorrow, it might be Wednesday, but I will get up there this week for sure, camera in hand.

Yes, we made it to Chicago just fine. It was an AMAZING trip. All those people that gave the strange look when we said we were going there for Spring Break just didn't have a clue. We did the touristy things during the day and the college student things at night. The Vietnam Veterans Art Museum is a MUST SEE for anyone in the area. I would go back for another trip in a heartbeat. I just need a little small town life before I do go back.

I'd say that if the frame isn't rusted in half, I'd buy it. Even I can do body work on a school bus. :D

... Thanks for the update... I REALLY appreciate you taking the time and making the effort to help me out... REALLY !!

.. I was corresponding with Tim & Heidi ... But who really knows who answers the e-mail...

Thanks again !!

So Tim was there today and we did get a good look at two identical buses. Shoot me a PM with your e-mail addy and I can send them to you with a little explanation. It was snow covered and they are packed tight there so I only got a couple pictures, but I will send what I have and let you know what I think. As always Tim was very pleasant and helpful. He even started up a 14 rpw Wayne Lifestar on an IH chassis with a DT360 and AT545. That one was a decent looking unit too.
