Hey all. I have a 1968 GM New Look bus with a 6V71, 4-speed Spicer manual transmission, and a wet clutch. The wet clutch has a pair of discs that need to be replaced and I'm wondering if anyone has leads on where I might find them. The pressure plate is stamped with part# 2426627, and the flywheel is stamped with part# 5124825. I can't find the part number for the discs themselves, nor can I find a source.

This is the disc. It is 15" in diameter, and there are two of them.

I have not, but I will! Thanks for the suggestion. I have the specs re: thickness of the discs from the service manual.

There's a local shop that specializes in clutches. I'm going to run the discs out there tomorrow and see what they say. I'm told they can re-line the discs, but I'm a little worried by how thin the discs are, and those notches cut in the sides, they'll tell me no. Only one way to find out.
