Hey Skoolies,
I know this is a no brainer but I am removing my busses school seats and would like to acquire some more comfy seating. Enough to seat about 12 people. 6 sets of double seats.

Seating from a coach bus (MCI- VanHool- old GM) seem much more friendly for the 'ol rear end as well as reclining for the "vintage spine". I specifically like the older 1960's GM coach seats with curved head rests. Fabric and foam condition unimportant.

Any sources to share? Secret stashes? Or gutted bus seat piles to plunder? Please contact me via PM or post here. Thanks,
Neurotaffy

Still looking...just checking if any of you are gutting an MCI, Prevo, or Vanhool. Id love some comfy seats as compared to the washboard style skool seating

We are in SW New Mexico. We are building an Eagle Coach. We have all the seats and mounting hardware. You are welcome to as many as you want.

Thanks for the offer Ruth. Vintage Eagle seats would be great! I would love 4 LH and 4 RH double rows but...alas I am here in NY state. Any pictures you could share? Thanks

I like the 2000ish gm and gmc truck and suv seats as they have the integrated seeat belts in them and you can usually pick them up for a couple hundred bucks for the pair... but they are usually a bit busted and will need some foam and now coverings.. but that brings a total for 2 new-ish seats for about 5-600 bucks... I think its not bad considering the price of good seats with belts for safety
