Greetings Skoolies! :greetings:

I'm a multi-media artist looking into converting a bus for my art studio. I've done some small conversions of 2 mini vans into art cars, both are long gong, boo hoo! I have a huge yard and need to save money from having to pay these high studio rents in Boston. I thought an RV or trailer may work, though after researching, it seems those won't hold up well to our hard New England winters and my usage.

I'm looking forward to learning and sharing with this enthusiastic community!

Hello & Welcome from the ArtCar Capital of the World (Houston, TX) --- Check your state regs before you register as many states will put anything used for any kind of business into the higher dollar "Commercial" category. Lots of folks use their "personal" rigs that way but have managed to avoid the costlier issues that come along with said commercial status.

And you are correct...a Skoolie that is reasonably built will be many times safer and more durable than any "sticks & staples" RV or camper.

Best of luck and keep us informed.
