Lost my history?

Hello! I'm a longtime user who hasn't been here in a few months - and that seems to be exactly the problem. I'm accustomed to logging in and having each forum show me which threads contain content newer than the last time I was here.



I haven't been here since 5/11/20, and I'm not seeing anything highlighted much past 30 days ago. None of the stuff from late May/first half of June is highlighted for me. Is this a bug or a feature? The last post in the top thread in this forum is apparently dated 5/17 (f'rinstance) and I wouldn't know about it.

Unfortunately no. The thread marking scheme that displays bold titles for unread content has a short expiry date. It only goes back about ten days. This is a software limitation and changing the retention range would slow down page loads a lot and even then would not resolve the issue for you as it would only take effect moving forward. Sorry about that
