I just want to say I have mad respect for anyone who has completed a skoolie conversion (who actually did the work themselves). This.......is........a........pain........in..........the ..........rearend!

Once you get past the demolition and to the point where you're adding things...it's fun. I enjoy learning new things and a skoolie conversion pushes people towards that.

Way passed demo, lol... floors are in, insulation, ceiling and walls roughed in. We are building the furniture and finishing the walls/ ceiling this weekend. Paint, electrical, and water systems install after that. I never knew how much I didn't know until this project and of course everything is wonky and oddly shaped. It is a challenge.

Yet something deep down, (or up), inside of you took on the challenge!

It's good to "vent" on occasion, as most of us who've also taken the challenge head first, can relate.

That will go a long way in keeping you focused when you look at the early pics, and watch your progress along the way!

You're finishing with the pain-in-the-ass phase, and now you're getting to the pleasant phase of the project. Once we started building out the interior and populating it with cabinetry and furniture (you'll likely end up making a LOT of adjustments in this phase) it went from drudgery to a fun. You got this.
