We installed a mini split on our skoolie and everything works great, except if we aren’t perfectly level, in which case the indoor unit just drips condensate wherever it wants inside the bus, as opposed to down the drain. When level the drain works well so I know it’s not plugged. Anyone else have this problem? Any solutions out there?

We have ran I to the same issue, of the bus leans to the passenger side, it'll drip out. We keep a couple 2x8's that are about 3' long. We put them under the passenger side rear tires of needed to level out.

most of the minisplit drain trays have a hose fitting at each end, but only one end is drilled out... you can drill out the center of the other end of the tray...

if your tray doesnt have a fitting at each end.. you can drill a hole in the dray and use a screw in hose barb fitting.. which even if the level is a little higher than the factory drain will drain enough water that the tray wont overflow..

on most of these units, the plastic outer cover comes off pretty easily and you can see the tray.. its a little tougher to work on this once the unit is installed vs doing it before you put it up, but I have taken them apart to replace motors while they are on the wall.. you just have to be careful not to damage the coil.. it can be moved around a bit.. possibly enough to get the tray out far enough to drill it..
