Monthly Expenses

Hi,

I am new here so I am not sure if this is in the correct place but I couldn't find a topic on it.

We bought our bus in November 2018 so this is only our second summer coming up where we are working on it. I am just wondering what monthly expenses look like for you guys? I am not sure what to expect exactly. Would anyone mind sharing their monthly budget or expenses?

Monthly cost for what?? Fuel? Bus parts and repairs? Life out on the road?

Very roughly fuel is about 10MPG in a diesel, bus parts and repair are costly, having a shop work on your rig figure 1K-5K depending on year of bus.

As far as life on the road, that is up to you! And how you live. There is a million ways to answer that question. How much you will drive, if you boondock etc etc etc..

Good to know about repairs. Ours is a 2001 Thomas. Cummings engine.

I was thinking like propane usage, water, that type of thing. We are planning on getting solar. Does that have a monthly expense? - I thought I heard it does.
