Well I got the old tin and stair treads ripped out and removed the dash. Hmmm, no shortage of rust. Probably leaked from the day it was built. We seem to be missing about an inch of the windshield support post and one tiny hole in the dash....we'll get that patched up and graphed in a piece.
Found a few defects as far as assembly goes....must have been a Friday build.

I so thought I would be so much further than I am, work seems to be slowing me down again.
Well I managed to get the windshield post welded and painted, also got some rust paint on the dash. Washed the plastic parts, repainted the heater, brake and clutch pedals, shifter and some other bits and pieces, painted the stairs for now. Sanded and cleared the shifter boot ring, and cleaned up other odds and sods. Got some of my aluminum cut, fit and installed. Still have a few pieces to cut for the stair treads. The air ride seat needs to be hooked up and a little cleaning, still have to swap the cover/foam from the pass side to the drivers side.
My daughter bought me a new key chain…apparently a must.

Pretty crappy picture taker, but y'all like pics.

Stairs finished...

Tango, finished my fuel pedal...a little cheezier than yours. Cut the grip tape out with a razor knife, cut the aluminum with a table saw, fine tuned it with a cut off wheel, file, and emery cloth.

Brother and I removed tape and taped again 9:45am - 4:30pm.
One of the painters came back to work and had the black painted in an hour.
I strained paint and filled cups on both colours so they didn't have to stop, the green we had three spray guns going.

Another two and a half hours to remove masking tape ...brother and I.

If you look close, I knock a mixing cup off the bench that had a bit of paint in it while I was removing the tape and it splashed up the side of the cargo bay lid....a couple of F SHARPS over that one, I'll fix it in the spring. It's already snowed a little here so we're getting ready to put 'er away.

To remove the decals and adhesive off second hand buses.
[not to clutter up the other thread.]
Also, the rear door is now green and wont be removed until spring at the earliest, still yours if ya want it.

Took it in for a safety and e-test this mornin' ...passed with flying colours, maybe tomorrow I can get to the MTO to switch it over to RV before I park it for the winter. Got everything I need, just isn't installed at the moment.
