My bus, the idea.

Everytime a bus AC is broken on the ground, an Angel loses their wings :(
Usually I would've kept it, but there were so many problems with the front system, it had leaks, the blowers inside the bus were broken, and plus it had a habit of killing the battery.

If it's like loosing its wings, I dunno what mine would be, considering it still has the rear unit, which is plenty powerful on its own.

For the time being I have a portable AC unit, I know they're very inefficient, but it's not a permanent solution. Is that unit complete? Or is it part of a split system. Basically is that one unit all I need to buy? Or are there more parts.
When I installed A/C in my coach I used one of these. 12V 200W Car Hanging Portable Air Conditioner A/C Car Truck Loading Wall-mounted | eBay It is mounted over the door at a slight angle towards the rear. It keeps me cool.

That is the evaporator for engine driven ac. If your front evaporater lost its wings this gives you new wings. Mine has been in service for almost 6 years problem free. Just run your hoses and wires and done.

I think I might have used wrong terminology, My bus has 2 completely seperate AC loops, one for the front and one for the rear. The rear engine driven AC is still good, I just removed the front one, for extra storage and because the rear system cools the bus even in the Florida heat. I didn't know the front system was bad until I actually felt the air coming out of it. I don't have any intent of restoring the front AC for this reason, there is no need to.

After a many cut planks and a few swears, the floor is in, looking mighty fine for a used floating floor!

I have good news! Weenie man is going solar! I recently received solar panels from a good freind of my dad's. The catch is they're old house units, solar world ac1104 panels to be exact. They're house grade and super durable, they're big so I could only fit 3 on the roof of the bus effectively. I'm expecting to be able to push 700 watts out of them, I'm eventually going to upgrade them to hopefully get at least 1000 watts of solar, but for free? I can't go wrong!
