This is a picture of my bus's rear exhaust (Picture is from a few days before i bought it) What is going on with this?! I assume it has had a replacement exhaust.. I just can't get over how goofy and ridiculous this looks.. should I replace this? I don't know if that will pass state inspection... I live in Florida now, but I plan to move to another state with the bus.. not sure where but probably Oregon.. which I think they do require inspections..

While it looks poorly done, there is nothing "wrong" with it. Flex pipe is legal, and used on tractor trailers. If it bothers you change it. Otherwise leave it be.

Definitely a hack fix with some flex pipe, but nothing technically wrong with it. I'm more concerned about the lack of support brackets on the original section of straight pipe unless they're just not visible in the photo.

There is one right before the pipe goes behind the mudflap in the picture, It's hard to see because of the section going over the rear axle.

Yeah I guess flex pipe works if it's far enough down the exhaust which this is. You don't want to use that near the engine portion cause it will burn a hole through faster than the normal exhaust pipe. Where it's at, it will just collect black soot and should be fine.
